How to get up and out

Just turned 50 yesterday. Been technically unemployed since mid June. The job search is going nowhere. Wake up every day with a positive attitude and try to keep the hopelessness from creeping in by the end of the day. Hopelessness for finding work, not for life, I have a great family and a great life. I'm realizing that I have to get my own thing going, and maybe get some updated education in the near future.
